Love Affair

I have been living in my flat 11 months now and this weekend I found a box yet to be unpacked and insidewas....26 records! A mixture of 7" singles and 12" LPs! This was a most exciting discovery, need to drag out my record player again (it's a massive pain to connect up to speakers...must get that sorted).

Weekend consisted of music, films, friends and family...all good and fairly relaxing as well :) Possibly have a couple of gigs on the horizon too, fingers crossed!

New mixed tape on it's way soon...

Watched 500 Days Of Summer tonight, curled up under a blanket with a horrible cold...and it made me feel lots better :) This film is so beautiful and the soundtrack is amazing.

This is going to be a long week...can I hide under the covers please?

Mixed Tape

Mixed tapes have popped up in my life twice this past week! On the lovely Rachel's blog, of Red Velvet Art fame, Dylan Todd was guesting for the day and posted on how to make the best mix tape..it's very cute :)

Plus, my fab friends were discussing the lack of mixed tapes these days...I myself am a big lover of a good mixed tape (CD/playlist). Both for other special people and for myself. I quite like designing artwork for the CD's, or sometimes I just write the lyrics of my favourite songs across the CD...it makes me smile :)
